Turkey has targeted Syrian energy sectors of air strike
Damascus, December 24 (IANS). Turkish combat aircraft performed air strikes on Saturday night by targeting energy facilities in the Northeast Syrian province of Al-Haska. The Syrian state’s television gave this information. According to the Xinhua News Agency report, the al-Auda oil area in the city of al-Qamishli was affected in the air strike. Turkey also targeted other oil facilities, including Saeeda and Zarbah Oil Station, as well as an Agricultural Bankground in Al-Qahtaniah. There were also attacks in various places in the city of Al-Malikiah. The attacks allegedly caught fire in at least two places. This was confirmed by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights War Monitor. However, information about people’s death was not found. The UK -based monitoring group said the Turkish fighting aircraft continue to patrol in the air of the region. Türkiye usually attacks areas with the Kurdish army controlled in northern Syria.
