Great action on weapons smuggling network in Punjab, 3 people arrested, 6 foreign weapons have recovered

Amritsar, June 7 (IANS). The Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) Punjab and Amritsar’s Border Range smuggled a large action against illegal weapons in Punjab, and arrested three people together. In this operation, six foreign weapons state was also restored across the border. The Joint team of Antf and Amritsar police performed the operation, in which three companions of a royal pin named Jughe Singh were detained. Initial inquiry revealed the shocking unveiling that the Chief Leader of this gang, Juggraj Singh, currently filed in the Goindwal Jail, drives this smuggling rack out of jail. According to police, Juggraj operated this network through the author of his lawyer. This author was an important source of contact between him and the rest of his colleagues. Police have described the recovered weapons as state and foreigners, which were brought from across the border to Punjab. These weapons can be used to create criminal activities and unrest in the state. In this case, a fir was submitted in PS ANTF, SAS Nagar, under the Arms Act. Punjab police are now strengthening the investigation to reach the entire bottom of this network and to track all the people involved in it. Police in Antf and Punjab have made it clear that they are fully committed to smuggling illegal weapons. According to police, such action is needed to maintain peace and security in the state. Investigations are also determined whether the wires of this network are associated with other criminal activities or cross -border terrorist organizations. Earlier on June 5, Tarn Taran police from Punjab, while acting on the basis of a special information, exposed a weapon smuggling module across Pakistan. Police gave this information on social media X handle. In this operation, police arrested two suspects, Surajpal Singh and Arshdeep Singh of Lakhna Village.
