The Rajasthan High Court gets seven new judges, now a total number of 43, for the first time in history, the deployment of so many judges simultaneously
An important step was taken in the Rajasthan High Court to strengthen the judiciary. The Supreme Court found seven new judges together on Monday, which was sworn in by the chief justice of the Rajasthan High Court, KR Shri Ram. After the appointment of these judges, the number of judges working in the Rajasthan High Court increased to 43, which in itself is a historical record. This is the first time that so many judges have been appointed to the Rajasthan High Court at the same time. Earlier, until July 2023, a total of 41 judges were employed in the Supreme Court, while the total number of posts approved here is 50. Now, the court’s legal process is likely to gain a momentum with the appointment of 43 judges. The trial of cases that have been pending for a long time will also accelerate, which will strengthen the justice system. The expectation of the judicial charge that dropped in the Rajasthan High Court, due to a lack of judges, was delayed judicial processes. Each judge had a burden of dozens of cases, which would not make decisions on time. Now new appointments are expected to accelerate the execution of business and that people will get time -bound justice. The indication of strengthening the judiciary, Chief Justice KR Shri Ram said during the curse ceremony that new appointments will make Rajasthan’s legal system more effective. He said that maintaining people’s confidence in the judiciary is our top priority. At the same time, he expected all the newly appointed judges to perform his duties with fairness and transparency. These appointments also reflect the seriousness of the government, the appointment of seven judges simultaneously in the Supreme Court also shows that the central and state governments are serious about the strength of the justice system.
