The foundation stone was laid in 2017, the work of the Bhiwani Medical College has not yet begun
Pandit Neki Ram Sharma Government Medical College in Bhiwani, whose foundation was laid in July 2017 by the then Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, has not yet begun. This medical college would be inaugurated by Premier Narendra Modi during his recent visit to the state, but this cannot happen due to a lack of expected approval. According to sources, the Department of Local Bodies could not set up for different reasons for different reasons, including the non-release of the building scheme, a lack of fire safety approval, lifts, industry theaters and other essential services/facilities. College buildings are ready, but sufficient faculty members are not functional due to the non-availability of membership installation of equipment and other procedural delays. It is used to start MBBS classes at the medical college from the upcoming academic session, but whether the officials can do so, it is still to be seen. Sources claim: “Instead of regular recruitment, civil servants appoint doctors on contract. However, very few doctors have joined the contractual nature and less attractive compensation of the post.” Share this story -tags
