The fire in the Western Jakarta apartment was extinguished, some residents were evacuated

Jakarta – The fire in one of the apartments on Jalan Kapuk, Cengkareng, West Jakarta, was extinguished. The fire went out at 19.27 WIB. “Just 20 minutes ago,” said a resident, Kevin, when he was contacted at 19.47 WIB on Tuesday (8/19/2025). Right now, he said, electricity on the spot is still extinguished. “Some of them were evacuated and electricity was also extinguished,” he said. Previously, the fire took place at about 6pm.
