The Madhya Pradesh Congress on Saturday (April 26, 2025) criticized an assignment issued by the State Director General of the Police (DGP) Kailash Makwana, which made uniform policemen compulsory for greeting the MPs (MP) and the members of the meeting (MLA) in Government Monors and General Meetings. According to media reports, this April 24 order, reviewed by the Hindu, was also instructed to give them ‘top priority’ when the public representatives go to the police station and ensure timely solution for their concerns. In addition, staff is advised to answer “humbly and appropriate” if they contact the phone through MPs and MAs on public issues. Share this story -tags
