Travis Kelce Spotted Training with High School Kids in NFL Offseason – ryan
Travis Kelce is getting in reps wherever he can during the NFL offseason.
The Kansas City Chiefs star has mostly laid low since the Philadelphia Eagles defeated his team in the 2025 Super Bowl in February, but on Sunday, April 13, two high school football players who spent time with Kelce posted photos from their training session on X.
“Got some good work in with Travis Kelce this past week,” Jazz Lewis, whose father Jamal Lewis played for the Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns, wrote on X.
Jazz, a wide receiver at Chamblee High School in Georgia, told his followers he “learned a lot from the Super Bowl legend” during their meeting.

Another high school player, Brayden Doss, whose X profile also says he’s based in Georgia, shared a photo with Kelce on Sunday after spending time with the Chiefs star. “Got some training in with @tkelce @Jazzlewis1018,” Doss wrote before thanking Jazz’s father Jamal, who likely helped set up the training session with Kelce.
Kelce was all smiles while posing with the high school athletes after their workout. The Super Bowl champ kept his outfit simple, rocking a backwards baseball cap, a tank top with shorts and a gold chain.

Kelce has been hard at work this offseason since the Chiefs’ tough Super Bowl loss. In a recent interview with The Athletichead coach Andy Reid said his star tight end has been “training like crazy” since deciding against retirement.

Reid also told the outlet that Kelce informed his head coach he would return for another season “less than a week” after the championship loss. “The healthier we can be around him, he can still be productive,” Reid said.
In the same article, Chiefs owner Clark Hunt said he’s “so excited” for another season with Kelce on the roster. “He loves the game, he loves his teammates and I know Coach Reid is excited to have his energy back in the building for at least one more year,” Hunt told The Athletic. “He’s already a Hall of Famer and he has a special chemistry with Patrick (Mahomes). I think like every year, it’s going to be fun to see the two of them work their magic again this year.”
