Lucknow: Energy -Minister examined strict instructions in summer
Lucknow, May 18 (IANS). In light of the increasing demand for electricity in the scorching heat, Energy Minister AK Sharma entered the front. To ensure uninterrupted power supply to consumers, they are investigating the power stations and provide the necessary instructions to the officers and employees. On Sunday, Energy Minister AK Sharma conducted a surprise inspection of the substations and electrical distribution equipment to ensure increasing demand for electricity in Lucknow, the safety of electrical equipment and uninterrupted supply. He inspected 33/11 KV the electric substation CG CT and provided the necessary guidelines to the officers and employees present. The Minister of Energy, together with the inspection of the substation, has reviewed the maintenance, reinforcement and protection measures taken in this summer. He also investigated the transformer’s repair and replacement work. Sharma carefully studied documents related to substation and power supply during inspection. He instructed the officials present, as well as the chairman and managing director of UPPL regarding the defects found in the inspection. The Minister of Energy said that the same feeder is repeatedly turned off on the pretext of maintenance or repairs. He instructed that all the work should be done at one time so that the downtime can be avoided again and again. He talked about the attention of maintenance to maintenance, so that fuse or transformers do not become a burning situation, and if so, instructed to quickly replace the transformer.
