Minister of Cooperation Muralidhar Mohol said it will be the first university for the cooperative sector and will comply with the capacity building of workforce and competent professionals working in this sector. About eight lakh -trained professionals are prepared per year. The purpose of ‘Tribhuvan’ Cooperative University bill is to provide education and training in the cooperative sector, building ability, degree programs, remotely-learning and e-learning courses and preparing about eight lakh-trained professionals each year.
