A bank of the Supreme Court consisting of Justices Vikram Nath and Sandeep Mehta on April 29 reported the bail of bail in the bail in the 1990 death, Pti reports. What did the SC say? Bhatt moved the Supreme Court in 2024, which contested the order of the Gujarat High Court on January 9, 2024 to reject his appeal. The Supreme Court also maintained the conviction of Bhatt and co -accused Pravinsinh Zala in terms of sections 302 (murder), 323 (voluntarily hurt) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian penalty code. The Supreme Court rejected the appeal of the state government to improve the sentences of five other accused who were acquitted of murder charges, but were convicted of Articles 323 and 506. He is also an accused in the case of alleged production of evidence in connection with the Gujarat riots in 2002, along with activist Teesta Setalvad and former Gujarat director general, RB Seekumar.
