India-Central Business Council will increase economic support between India and Central Asian countries: Subrakant Panda

New Delhi, June 5 (IANS) Industrial Body Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), subrakant Panda, said on Thursday that India-Santral Asia business council would be very useful in the increasing economic cooperation between India and Central Asian countries. Subbakant Panda spoke with the IANS news agency that India has many centuries-old historical relations with the Central Asian region, and the India-Central Asia business council aims to really strengthen it and promote more economic involvement. He further stated that such dialogues will especially provide an opportunity to gather for the companies of the two parties, but I think it will not only help to strengthen the existing collaboration areas, but will also find new roads where the businesses have to work together on both sides. In a conversation with Ians, Panda further said that energy, pharmaceutical, agriculture and food processing, etc. Specific areas are in which both regions can move very quickly. He said tourism is definitely mentioned in all the addresses in the program. I think more connection among people except businesses really reinforces relationships. According to the Foreign Ministry, Ministers of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan were also attended by the Foreign Minister in India. Foreign Minister Dr. Jaishankar, on June 6, 2025, will host the foreign ministers of these countries for the fourth meeting of India-Central Asia dialogue in New Delhi.
