Pakistan: More than 250 workers arrested in BNP protests against the central government
Quetta, March 29 (IANS). More than 250 activists from Pakistan’s Balochistan National Party (BNP) were arrested on Saturday. He led a peaceful march to Quetta against illegal supervision of the leaders and activists of Baloch Yakjhati (BYC). Local media said on Saturday that the protesters were caught near Mastung in the province of Balochistan. Earlier Saturday, BNP criticized the federal government when they put holders on their way to stop the ‘peaceful march’ from Wad to Quetta and blocked the most important access points. The party leadership is expected to announce their future actions on Saturday amid cruel oppression. BNP posted on X on Saturday: “Security forces have fired tear gas peels against people near Lakpas, Quetta, so far more than 250 political activists have been arrested, and dozens of injured were injured due to the actions of the security forces.” Party leader Akhtar Mangal shared a message on social media and criticized Pakistani officials for their outrageous efforts to disrupt the peaceful march by shooting off and shooting at the participants. Mangal posted on X on Saturday, “We are currently in Luck Pass, where all the entrances with containers have been closed. Quetta has been arrested in a long march and heavy shooting is done. My senior leadership is also directly shooting.
