Rs 2,000 crore stuck for strengthening agriculture, horticultural areas

Chief Minister Sukhindra Singh Sukhu said today that the state government will spend RS 2000 crore to strengthen the agricultural and gardening sector in the current financial year. He presented a meeting with senior officials from the Departments of Agriculture, Horticulture and Related Fields here. He said the state government is working on the development of the most favorable infrastructure to process agricultural and horticultural products and to promote marketing and dairy sector. Sukhu said livestock makes an important contribution to the strengthening of the rural economy. He said: “The state government introduced the Him Ganga Yojana on a pilot base in Hamirpur and Kangra districts. In addition, Milkfed 120 automatic and 32 digital milk collection units installed in Mandi, Kullu and Shimla districts.” The chief minister said that the goal of the farm and the natural farm, the government, rectified the minimum support price (MSP) of Turmic, Wheat, Wheat and Maice determined the minimum support price (MSP).
