IFFCO's Historical Achievement: Record Wins in 2024-25, 47 percent increase in the sales of nano fertilizers

New -Delhi, May 29 (IANS). The Indian Farmers Artis Cooperative Limited (IFFCO), a leading organization in the Indian cooperative sector, earned a profit before tax of Rs 3.811 crore by setting another record in the financial year 2024-25. This is the third consecutive year when IFFCO has registered a profit of more than Rs 3,000 crore. This year, sales of Nano fertilizers recorded a 47 percent increase, with 118 percent unprecedented increase in the sales of IFFCO Nano Dap. IFFCO sold a total of 365.09 Lakh bottles of Nano fertilizers this year, with greater growth compared to the previous year’s 248.95 million bottles. The use of Nano Urea Plus and Nano Dap not only benefited farmers, but has also reduced a significant decline in the consumption of traditional fertilizers. The president of the Dilip Sanghani institution said that the dream of ‘Sahakar to Samriddhi’ by the performance of IFFCO realized. IFFCO has proven its dedication to its members by giving 20 percent dividends for 23 years in a row for 23 years. IFFCO will soon launch modern products such as Nano-Sink, Nano-buyer and grainy Nano NPK, which will ensure an increase in agricultural production capacity as well as nutritional balance. This initiative is to completely convert the agricultural and food price chain through technological innovations such as drones, AI and Nano technology in the agricultural sector. IFFCO has launched 203 model Nano Village projects across the country, which led to a 28.73 percent decline in the consumption of chemical fertilizers and 5.8 percent in crop productivity. IFFCO is now working to connect this project with carbon credit certification. The managing director of the institution, Dr. US Awasthi, was awarded the iconic honors such as the ‘Rouchdel Pioneer Award 2024’ and ‘Fertilizer Purush or India’ on the international stage, giving IFFCO’s contribution to IFFCO.
