The congress has no match with BJP in Gujarat: Jagdish Shettar
Hubli, April 8 (IANS). The two -day meeting of the Central Executive Committee (CWC) of the congress party started in Ahmedabad on Tuesday for the upcoming elections in Bihar and Gujarat. The party’s election strategy and future steps are discussed in depth in the meeting. Meanwhile, Bharatiya Janata (BJP) Member Jagdish Shettar knocked out at the congress part and said his party had no match in Gujarat. He said that the BJP day by day in Gujarat is getting stronger and that the party has been in power for the past three four decades. The BJP has effectively implemented developmental works in the state, which continues to remain in the party’s trust in the party. Shettar also said that the congress party could not firmly maintain its position in Gujarat due to the strong organization on the ground level of the BJP. Congress has lost its confidence in Gujarat, and now the AICC conference of only two or three days in the state will make no difference. He said that Congress will not benefit from this conference and that the BJP’s hold will remain strong. The congress will have to take a big step to maintain its place in the state, as the BJP has constantly improved its politics and contributed significantly to the development of the state. Let us know that after 64 years in Gujarat, the Congress Party organizes this program. The congress session was held in Bhavnagar earlier in 1961, which after independence was the party’s first major event in Gujarat. Congressional leaders Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi reached Ahmedabad at about 10.30am today, while Priyanka Gandhi did not reach. -Ians PSM/CBT Share this story Tags
