A case of molestation and bullying with a female employee came to light at the headquarters of the Department of Social Welfare in Gomtinagar in the Capital Lucknow. The victim claimed that Jai Kishan Singh, a private secretary of the minister who was placed in the department, treated her immoral. On the victim’s complaint, the Minister of Social Welfare Arun Arun immediately noted and called Gomtinagar police on the spot and arrested the accused private secretary. According to the information received, the victim has been working in the Department of Social Welfare over the past few years. She did departmental works seriously, but private secretary Jai Kishan Singh, who worked in the same department, did offensive acts with him. When the victim opposed it, the accused tried to silence her by intimidating. After the incident, the victim, who showed courage, filed a written complaint with the Departmental Minister Asema Arun. The case took the case seriously, and the minister took no commitment and immediately called Gomtinagar police and arrested the accused Jai Kishan Singh. According to sources, the attitude of Minister Asema Arun was very clear in the case. He said that no female employee who works in the department will not be tolerated at all. The minister also said that the safety and dignity of every woman who works in the Department of Social Welfare takes precedence. Police have registered a fir on the female employee’s Tahrir and the accused is being questioned. The process of drawing up an investigation committee at the departmental level has also been started, so that such incidents cannot be found in the future. After this incident, an atmosphere of fear and resentment was seen among other female employees working in the department. Many women employees also demanded that a strong women’s security mechanism be created in the department and that the complaints of outsourcing employees should be heard on priority.
