President's rule has increased in Manipur for 6 months, why can't BJP find an option of Biren Singh?

The official notice said: “This home approves the continuation of the proclamation issued by the president under Article 356 of the Constitution on 13 February 2025 for an extra period of six months from 13 August 2025 to six months.” The current step in increasing the president’s rule in the state has been taken by the NDA’s Metai and Naga MLAs amid their ongoing attempts to restore an elected government in the state. In terms of section 356 (3) of the Constitution, the president’s management is by the office of the Governor, which usually lasts six months and can be renewed every six months with the approval of Parliament, the maximum duration of three years. Violence broke out during this march and there were collisions, arson and riots in many areas. More than 250 people were killed in this common conflict and more than 60,000 people were forced to leave their homes. In a recent incident, security forces arrested eight militants on Thursday related to various prohibited organizations of the districts of Imphal West, Bishnupur, Tenganopal and Chandel. Police said security forces were conducting search operations in the border and sensitive areas of these districts two years before the start of common violence. Officials said the former chief minister of Biren Singh launched a massive eviction campaign in 2022 and 2023 against exceeding reserved forest areas and government land in the Hill and Valley districts.
