New -Delhi, June 18 (IANS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Croatia on Wednesday during the last stop of his three -nation tour. During this, interaction with the Prime Minister of Croatia, Andrez Plankovic, in the capital Jagreb. Several issues were discussed between the two leaders. Premier Modi shared the picture of the conversation on the social media platform X. He referred to strengthening the relationship between the two countries, and he wrote: “Jagreb had a significant conversation with his friend Prime Minister Andrez Plankovic. Our conversation included many areas, which aimed to further strengthen the relationship between India and Croatia.” He wrote: “We will work together on defense and safety, pharmaceutical products, agriculture, IT, renewable energy, technology and other fields. The semiconductor, shipbuilding, connectivity and coordination in other areas will also be very beneficial.” Prime Minister Modi had earlier welcomed a great welcome at Franzo Tuzman Airport in Jagreb through Croatia’s Prime Minister Andrej Plankovic. Premier Modi expressed gratitude to the social media platform ‘X’ for this affinity, saying: ‘It’s a special journey. I am grateful for this special sentiment of Premier Andrez Plankovic who welcomes at the airport. ‘ The Croatian Prime Minister Plankovich said that the journey is taking place at an important geopolitical time and that a new chapter begins to strengthen bilateral cooperation. At the same time, a large number of people from the Indian community and local citizens gathered on the roads. Traditional cultural performances also took place between the slogans of “Modi-Modi”, “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Dist Mataram”, which the prime minister saw smiling. It is noteworthy that this is the first historical visit of any Indian Prime Minister in Croatia, which is expected to include a new chapter in the relationship between the two countries.
