Police accused of attacking VHP workers in Mumbai, preparation for demonstration

Mumbai, April 29 (IANS). The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) in Mumbai filed a strong protest march on police’s attitude. VHP spokeswoman Shriraj Nair said with Ians that the organization’s workers have been constantly directed over the past few months. He claimed that a VHP worker was so brutally beaten on April 20 that he should be admitted to the ICU. After this incident, there is resentment within the organization and the feelings of uncertainty were immersed among the workers. Shriraj Nair said VHP workers sustained serious injuries, some of whom sustained serious head injuries. He said that this series has been constantly constantly over the past few months and blamed the partisan role of the police behind it. Nair claims that police are refraining from registering and on the contrary against some people from the Muslim community, acting against Hindu activists and in a way to try to create a ‘balance’. According to him, this attitude is not only unfair, but also one -sided and dangerous, which influenced the morale of VHP workers. The VHP says that thousands of workers will join this protest front for this reason. The VHP demanded that strict steps be taken against the police officers involved in this alleged barbarity.
