Karnataka: IPS Amar Kumar Pandey has retired, underworld Don Ravi Pujari and Bannanj Raja to bring back from abroad!

Senior IPS officer Amar Kumar Pandey, who played an important role in the arrest of underworld Don Ravi Pujari and Bannanj Raja and brought it back to India, retired from the Karnataka police department on Saturday. Pandey is employed as Director General of the Police (ADGP) added to the state fire force and emergency services. He is an IPS officer from 1989 from Bihar and served in various positions in the State Police Division for 33 years. Pandey started an ambulance service on highways and saved hundreds of people during his tenure as SP of Dharwad. When he was the IGP of the central zone, police encountered the notorious Bettanagere Sina in the rural district in Bangalore. The meeting has reduced criminals and mafia activities in the region. Pandey played an important role in the arrest of terrorist Mehdi Biswas, who allegedly handled the social media version of the terrorist organization Isis. He was the brain of surgery to bring back international Don Ravi Pujari and Bannanje Raja. Pandey was awarded the president’s medal, special service medal, chief minister medal for commendable services and various awards.
