People can use their Aadhaar card with confidence to utilize benefits and services, but keep it safe such as a bank account, permanent account number (PAN), or any other identity document, including passport, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) said on Friday. Aadhaar digital ID of a resident online and offline identification across the country serves as a single source of verification. Uidai said in an advice- while sharing Aadhaar with any reliable institution, the same precautions must be taken, which are taken while you are any other identity documents such as a mobile number, bank account number or passport, voter ID, PAN, ration card, etc. Part. If a resident is not comfortable sharing his Aadhaar number, then Uidai also provides the facility of virtual identification (VID). Vid can be generated in two ways- by visiting the official website by visiting the MyAAdhar Portal. It can be changed to the end of the calendar day. The Uidai said: “If a resident is unlikely to use the basis for some time, he could close the base or biometry for such a period.” It can be unlocked easily and immediately.
