According to him, arbitration is an alternative to bringing justice between the two parties to the dispute. “The main purpose of this collaboration is to study and socialize how important arbitration in the future, in Indonesia and perhaps in some other countries has problems, the same problem, how matters or legal disputes become more difficult when completed by court processes or litigation,” Dwiyanto Prihartono told Reporters at Peradi Tower. “So arbitration is a very important alternative, and that is the part that brings us to a more just and honest atmosphere,” he added. Dwiyanto said an advocate should have the ability to explain to his client. He said arbitration is a safer choice in solving legal disputes. “It’s just that the understanding of people must continue to improve, as well as the ability of advocates to explain to their clients, how arbitration is a part that is more a process to resolve business disputes,” he said. Peradi YLC chairman Andra Pasaribu said the seminar was also aimed at encouraging the use of arbitration as a way to resolve legal disputes, which accomplished justice together with business contracts. He hopes that an international seminar like this will be held in Indonesia again. “Asked by Mr. Dwi, it was that it opened our insights, especially young advocates in Indonesia, that the choice of arbitration disputes is one of the good choices. Because of the professionalism, how justice between the two parties with a business contract performed and continues to work during the arbitration process,” said Andra Pasaribu. Tejus Chauhan said his party wanted to increase the insight of the seminar participants on various aspects of advocacy and technically related to arbitration. He said this seminar was a first step. “I think this is just the beginning. We have a lot in the store. We continue to seek feedback. We will love to hear from you how we can interact with the practices, how we can promote the rule you have so much to have us,” said Tejus Chauhan. Serene Chee said there was a lot of collaboration between Indonesia and Singapore. He said the purpose of this seminar is to increase the interests of the seminar participants to the arbitration. “I think there is a lot of cooperation and work between Singapore and Indonesia. The whole point of this event is to help the young advocates and also non-attorneys, all with interest in arbitration to learn more about arbitration and hopefully in the future,” said Serene Chee.
