PDIP -Legislature reminds prospective MK Judges: We choose, don't hit the DPR

Jakarta -Member of the House of Representatives Commission III of the PDIP faction -Inspector -General (Ret.) Safaruddin reminded Inosentius Samsul as a candidate for judges of the Constitutional Court (MK) not to forget its origin as its choice of Indonesian parliament. Safaruddin said that the Judge of the Constitutional Court should hold the foundation. Safaruddin reminded that Inosentius was elected from the DPR as a candidate for constitutional judges. “Since we choose from the DPR, usually, sir, if we fit here, we will fight here for the DPR’s envoy. But after I got there (MK), I forgot that the father was chosen from the DPR,” Safaruddin said. He emphasized that Inosentius had strong confidence and determination. “I mean, you have strong beliefs, determination, really do not defend in the DPR, but you do not forget that you are chosen from the DPR, do not return to hit the DPR,” he said. Furthermore, Safaruddin believes that Inosentius has the appropriate competence as a prospective MK judge. However, he reminded that the establishment of Inosentius was not shaken. “Only sometimes there will be the influence of left and right, you can shake, and I ask you to be stuck in establishing other judges,” he said. “We really think of the benefit of the community, not short -term interests, but long -term interests, how this country can go well,” he continued.
