Patna: Rajya Sabha -LP Upendra Kushwaha arrested by phone threatening

Patna, June 21 (IANS). Police arrested the youth on Saturday who threatened to kill Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) president and Rajya Sabha -LP Upendra Kushwaha in the name of Lawrence Bishnoi Gang. However, no contact with the arrested youth’s Lawrence Bishnoi gang has been unveiled yet. Patna’s senior superintendent of police Karthikeya Sharma said that on June 19, Rajya Sabha MP Upendra Kushwaha was threatened with death in the name of Lawrence Bishnoi Gang. The former Union Minister of Upendra Kushwaha himself gave this information on the social media platform X. In this regard, his assistant also submitted a FIR in the Secretariat police station. He said the impending person was identified as Rakesh Kumar, a resident of Darauli, Siwan, who was arrested. The cellphone number and the phone were also recovered from him, which threatened the Rajya Sabha LP. He said that a diary was also recovered from him, which has telephone numbers of many ministers, MPs and MLAs. The SSP of Patna further said that Rakesh called many people, including Upendra Kushwaha. He also describes himself as a supporter of Upendra Kushwaha. During interrogation, he said he had been angry with some statements from Upendra Kushwaha lately. It is noteworthy that the former Union Minister of Upendra Kushwaha posted on the social media platform X on June 19, and wrote: “Between 8:52 and 21:20 I received threatening calls from mobile number +916305129156 and +91929567466 in the name of Lawrence Bishnoi. is also said that things were finished as in ten days.
