Shuffle together returned to Broadway in 1933, 1952, and recently in 2016 in a reworked George C. Wolfe-Helmed Revisal. The adaptation contains a reckoning book by Wolfe and presented the original 1921 music, while the events surrounding the original production are set out. Shuffle together, or make the musical sensation of 1921 and all that followed 38 previews and 100 performances played before it closed on July 24, 2016, with 10 Tony Awards, including best musical.
