Five Arab clubs fought the new version of the Club World Cup hosted by the United States of America with the participation of 32 clubs for the first time in the history of the tournament.
These teams were in the Egyptian Al -Ahly, Al -Hilal Al -Saudi, Al -Ain Al -Emirati, Tunisian Esperance, and Moroccan oval, as they all played the group stage competitions.
In the matches of this role, the Arab teams together scored 12 goals, but they were only able to achieve one Arab qualification, which was the share of the Saudi Al Hilal team, which succeeded in deducting the transit card to the final price, while the rest of the teams called the championship early.
Al -Hilal qualified came after its important victory over its Mexican counterpart Pachuca with two clean goals in the last third round of the group stage, to win five points and occupy the second place in the eighth group, two points behind Real Madrid, which ended the role in the top of the group with seven points.
