NEIDA Police’s big action, smuggler arrested with hemp worth Rs 3 Lakh

NEIDA, MAY 17 (IANS). Police team of police commissioner Gautam Buddha Nagar Police Station-63, while achieving a huge success, arrested an accused in the case of hemp smuggling. Police found about 20 kg of cannabis out of possession of the smuggler, who is estimated to be about 3 lakh calls. A quick car used in smuggling was also seized. This action was done on the basis of local intelligence information, when police arrested the accused near the Metro pillar No-36. The arrested accused have been identified as Vishal, originally from the Shivpuri town Afzalgarh police station in Bijnor. He currently lives in Bahlolpur Village in Sector-63, Noida. The age of the accused is about 25 years. Police investigation revealed that the accused Vishal, along with another partner, brought Hemp from Odisha. After this, it used to provide it in different areas of NCR, including Noida. For this he uses a quick car, especially so that no one was suspicious. The vehicle used by the accused was also confiscated. Police registered a case against the accused in terms of the NDPS Act. At present, police are looking for his partner and other criminal history of the accused is also being investigated. Police are also investigating his network. Investigation revealed that the accused used to make small drug pudding with his colleagues throughout the NCR, including Delhi.
