Noida, April 29 (IANS). Lokesh M., CEO of Noida Authority in Uttar Pradesh, investigated the Godavari market at Sector-37 on Tuesday and revised the progress of the ongoing renewal work there. On this occasion, Deputy General Manager (civil) Vijay Rawal of the government, senior manager, work circle officer and other staff members were present. The government is doing a phased beauty and renovation work to make the city’s most important markets more attractive and more convenient for citizens. In this order, Godavari market is also rejuvenated. During the inspection, Dr. Lokesh instructed to improve the lighting system in the market. He said that additional lighting should be arranged in places where there is darkness. At the same time, instructions were given to clean the empty space behind the market and develop it as a street, where dirt was found during inspection. It is striking that Godavari market is about 40 years old, with 38 stores and five kiosks on the ground floor. There are five halls on the first floor. This market is an important commercial center for locals, where a large number of people come shopping daily. With the aim of facilitating shop owners and attracting more buyers, the authorities are renewed by the renewal and Fasad enhancement government. An estimated cost of Rs 2.34 crore was signed for this project. The CEO has instructed the officials concerned not to do a shortage of the speed and quality of the work, and it must be completed by June 30.
