NATIONAL INFORMATIONS DAY: HISTORY AND DEVELOPMENT
Jakarta – On April 30, 2025, the National Information Openness Day (Hakky) is commemorated. Since 2015, the Government has launched the date of provision of the KIP Act as the date of commemoration of the National Information Division Day (Hakky). However, so far there are no official rules that endorse the determination of the date or warning in the form of legislation. Early in 2024, the Ministry of Communications and Information (Kemenkominfo) received a proposal from the State Institution of the Central Information Commission (AI) for the determination of Hakin on September 28. Although Hakin is usually commemorated every April 30, according to the Determination of the KIP Act. However, this proposal still has to wait for the Presidential decision (Keppres). According to the central AI, the reasons for the proposed commemoration of Hakin are based on the date of commemoration of the right day (ready to know day/RTKD) on September 28.
