Odisha: CM Majhi offered prayers at the Maa Samleshwari Temple, has embarked on the Samlei project
Sambalpur, April 20 (IANS). Odisha chief minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Sunday began her visit in the Sambalpur district with worship in the Maa Samleshwari Temple. When he reached the city, he took the blessings of the most important deity in the temple and participated in traditional rituals. After the temple visit, Chief Minister Majhi visited the area around the ambitious Samale project. The project was launched for the beautification and development of the MAA Samleshwari Temple and its surrounding area, which will play an important role in increasing local tourism and cultural importance. During this, Chief Minister Majhi made the progress of the project and instructed the officials to implement timely implementation. The ministers and officials who present himself also discussed various aspects of the project. After this, the chief minister attended the first public correction camp of the state government at the Sambalpur Municipal Corporation office. 10 Cabinet ministers and various departmental secretaries participated in this camp. The purpose of the camp was to listen to the problems of ordinary people and quickly resolve. In his speech, Chief Minister Majhi said: “Our government is committed to solving their problems by staying close to the people. This camp is an attempt to reduce the distance between the administration and the public.” He instructed officials to take quick and effective steps on complaints. Complaints related to various issues such as road, electricity, water, health services and land disputes have been reported in the camp. Chief Minister Majhi took every complaint seriously, asked the relevant departments to act immediately. He also assured that such camps would also be arranged in the future, so that the problems of the people at the local level could be solved. This visit of CM Majhi is considered an important step in the development of Sambalpur as a major tourist destination under Samalei project. During this, Deputy Chief Minister KV Singh Dev, Sureesh Pujari, Minister of Revenue, the Minister of Panchayati Raj, Rabi Narayan Naik, Bos and Environmental Minister Ganesh Ram Khuntia and Mla Jayanarayan Mishra also present.
