Broadway backwardsThe annual advantage concert in celebration of the LGBTQ+ community via songs from the musical theater, play the Gershwin Theater of Broadway, current home of Evilfor the first time March 10.
Produced by Broadway Care, the evening will benefit the non -profit theater and the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community center of New York (the center). Guest artists are later announced.
Creator Robert Bartley will return to the direct and choreograph. He will be merged by Ted Arthur and Mary-Mitchell Campbell As music supervisors, Nicholas Connors and Nick Wilders as music directors, and Chris gurr as co -music director. Amanda Lamotte Join as a choreographer, and Adam Roberts will return as a choreographer and fellow director. Arc Mark Brandon and Jarrett rich Serve as casting consultants.
What started as a small, grassroots concert that acted in the center in 2006 has grown into a very expected opportunity. In his 18 issues, Broadway backwards raised more than $ 7.9 million for Broadway Care and the center. The 101-year-old cast contains a large number of beloved Broadway stars, including Shoshana Bean, Julie Benko, Tituss Burgess, Norbert Leo Butz, Jordan Fisher, Alex Newell and more, backed by a live orchestra.
VIP tickets include premium seats and a special reception of the cast. A limited number of ticket packages “Backstage & Beyond” are also available.

Using the talents, resources and generosity of the US theater community, Broadway Cares has raised more than $ 300 million since 1988 for essential services for people with HIV/AIDS and other critical diseases in the United States.
