829 km Long Sky Lightning! World record of broken megaflash in America, satellite captured

In the year 2017, there was no simple electricity in the air in the US. Now scientists have revealed that it was not a thunder, but the longest ‘megaflash’ in the world, which was 829 km long. This electricity shines in the air from Texas to Kansas and now the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) has declared it the longest power in the world. The earlier record was 768 km long MegaFlash, recorded in 20 US States, Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi, in 2020. According to scientists, this MegaFlash was not like a normal force falling to the ground. It is a few hundred kilometers between the clouds spread horizontally and it is very difficult to catch it. But now it can be measured and recorded using satellites. How was this electricity seen? This MegaFlash could not be recorded from ordinary land. It was recorded by the Go -east Weather -Satellite, 22,000 miles above the Earth. Scientists said that such long power usually spreads in a horizontal (straight) direction between the clouds and does not reach the ground, so it is difficult to identify. What is MegaFlash? If electricity is more than 100 kilometers long, it is called ‘megaflash’. It is a very rare and dangerous natural phenomenon. Usually electricity is 10-15 km long and falls directly to the soil. Scientists say that these records show how powerful nature is. Even big records can be revealed in the future, because now we have better technology. Share this story -tags
