Mohamed Ramadan promotes his party in America using “watermelon” – ryan

In a move that sparked controversy and interpretations, the artist Mohamed Ramadan chose to promote his concert at the “Kochilla” festival in the United States in an unconventional way, where he posted a video clip cutting a watermelon fruit ..

He commented: “Today’s concert is like a watermelon … green from land like all the support you received on WhatsApp, and red from the atmosphere of YouTube, which the party will be broadcast directly.”

The satirical publication of Ramadan opened the door for questions about the unannounced messages that it might carry, especially since the watermelon has become a common symbol to support the Palestinian issue, which prompted many followers to consider the video as an intended political hint at a sensitive timing.

What increased the possibilities of political interpretation is a previous statement of Ramadan through his account on “Instagram”, in which he said that the ceremony is a “opportunity to deliver a strong message through art and music,” adding: “I may not be able to enter America again after this party, but we will reach our message as they taught us.”

The ceremony is scheduled to take place at 6:00 pm Los Angeles time (3 am Cairo time), where Ramadan fans are awaiting a group of his most famous songs, amid anticipation of the artistic and possibly symbolic surprises that it may present.

It is worth noting that the “Cochlla” festival is one of the most prominent art festivals in America, and the participation of Ramadan in it is considered a new step towards the world, but it also came amid questions about the indications of its symbolic appearance that brought together art and politics in one shot.
