Eating after cupping

  • Drink a lot of water to keep the body moisture.(٣)

Tips after cupping

The size is recommended after cupping therapy to follow some tips, including the following:(٣)

  • Refrain from smoking for approximately 24 hours.
  • Refrain from exercising and intercourse for nearly 48 hours.

Types of cupping

  • Increased blood flow,(٤) Reducing muscle tension, helping to repair cells, building a guarantor tissue, and new blood vessels inside the tissues,(١) In addition, it helps to relax the body tissues and improve communication between cells.
  • Reducing headaches and tension,(٥) And anxiety, depression (English: DePrass).(٤)

Side effects of cupping

It is very important for the processor to wear special clothes, gloves, and protective glasses before starting a cupping session,(١) It should also be alerted to the gravity of cupping on the skin with burns, infections, or open wounds, and it is very important to give the healers necessary to ensure protection from some diseases such as hepatitis, and the HIV virus,(١) It should be noted that the skin returns to normal again within 10 days.(٤) Among the side effects that cupping may cause the following:(٤)

  • Mild discomfort in the treatment site.
  • The appearance of burns and bruises in the treatment site.
  • The possibility of skin infection.
  • Feeling of dizziness, nausea, and sweating during treatment.(١)

It is worth noting that it is not recommended to conduct cupping for children, the elderly, pregnant women, and women during the period of transmission,(١) And people with fever.(٥)
