Menbud encourages Indonesia Amsterdam to become a cultural diplomacy in Europe

Jakarta – Minister of Culture, Fadli Zon, accompanied by the Indonesian ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Mayerfas, visited the Indonesian house Amsterdam (IHA) owned by the Indonesian government in the middle of Amsterdam. This visit is part of the Fadli Zon work trip to the Netherlands and Poland to strengthen cultural cooperation and expand the network of Indonesian cultural diplomacy in Europe. Fadli Zon said that optimizing the IHA function would be one of the priorities of the Ministry of Culture in an effort to expand the Indonesian cultural ecosystem worldwide. “Indonesia Huis Amsterdam is a promotional space as well as a strategic knot of Indonesian cultural diplomacy in Europe. In it, it contains Indonesian cultural homes that will activate us through the temporary exhibition program, literacy of different literary products and children’s stories in Dutch, the delivery of Art Maestro from different disciplines, as well as intercultural interaction forums. Renovation process for two years, IHA is now the center of cultural activities, product exhibitions, art performances and dialogue forums that have the international public and the Indonesian Diaspora community. -Network knot, cross -cultural dialogue forum and Indonesian economic diplomacy in the European region.
