Two out of three need help in Sudan, donors Retreat: UN
Geneva, April 12 (IANS). The United Nations (UN) agencies have warned that the humanitarian crisis in Sudan is extremely serious. He said famine is spreading in the country and that violent conflicts are underway in which citizens of all age groups face another misconduct, including rape. At the same time, donors withdraw. UN spokesman Yance Lark said on Friday that the peace was not reached, while Sudani citizens were caught up in this huge humanitarian crisis. Lark said: “Two out of every three people need help, that is, three crore people … It takes international support on a large scale, but we see that donors around the world are taking their steps back.” The World Food Program expressed deep concern about the situation of 2.5 Crore Sudani citizens facing famine. UN Communications Officer Lenny Kinzli said Sudan Agency Agency has arisen in Sudan’s greatest hunger and spread famine because of the war that has been released for two years. After the differences that emerged about the restoration of civil rule in the country following the expulsion of former president Omar al-Bashir, the violent struggle between Sudan’s armed forces and the Paramilitarian power (RSF) on April 15, 2023, caused major losses to cities. At least 1.24 Crore people have become homeless, of which 33 lakhs have taken refuge in other countries. In the past two years, 156 attacks on health centers have been confirmed, in which more than 300 people were killed and 270 injured, including healthcare and patients. According to the UN Empowerment of Women, 80 percent of hospitals are stopped in violent conflict areas in hospitals, and the deaths of labor are increasing.
