Uttarakhand: Kotdwar -Court will make a ruling on the murder case of Ankita on Friday

Kotdwar, May 29 (IANS). The Kotdwar Court will express the verdict on Friday in Uttarakhand’s famous Ankita murder case. The case has been considered since September 2022. The Kotdwar Court will make its ruling in the murder case of Ankita Bhandari on Friday. Ankita Bhandari, 22, of Yamkeshwar Block in the Pauri district was killed on September 18, 2022. She worked earlier as a receptionist at Vanatra Resort in Yamkeshwar block. Police blocked outside the court premises on Friday for the upcoming decision. At the same time, heavy police are expected to be deployed out of court. Ankita Bhandari disappeared from Vanatra Resort in Yamkeshwar on September 18, 2022. Six days later, on September 24, SDRF restored the body of Ankita Bhandari of the channel at Cheela Power House intake. In this case, Pulkit Arya, Saurabh Bhaskar and Ankit Gupta were arrested and jailed. Pulkit is the most important accused. The SIT team was formed under the leadership of Dig (Law and Order) P. Renuka Devi regarding the announcement of the case. After the sitting investigation, a 500 -page charge sheet was filed by the prosecution in court. The prosecution began the testimony of the prosecution from March 28, 2023, after the accused was drawn up on the Three Killers Resort, Pulkit Arya, his employees Saurabh Bhaskar and Ankit Gupta. The first hearing of the case was held on January 30, 2023 in the Kotdwar Deputy Court. In the hearing, about two years and eight months lasted, 47 Witnesses, including the investigating officer, were produced in court on behalf of the prosecution. However, the SIT made 97 Witnesses in the case, of which only 47 important witnesses were produced in court. On May 19, Avnish Negi, special prosecutor of the prosecution, ended the trial by responding to the defense debate.
