A Language Consultation Panel of the Maharashtra government on Sunday against the main minister of Devendra Fadnavis’s decision to make Hindi compulsory from the first standard in schools. The panel wrote to CM Fadnavis to request him to revoke the decision that made Hindi’s teaching compulsory as a third language from Class 1 to 5 in all State Council schools, along with marathi and English.
