New -Delhi, April 26 (IANS). The Delhi government has decided to start ‘Maa Yamuna netiness campaign’ in schools in the capital, with a major initiative to revive the Yamuna River. This campaign was initiated by the Minister of Water of the Delhi government, Pravesh Sahib Singh. He wrote a letter to Education Minister Ashish Sood asking him to implement this special campaign in all government, help and private schools in Delhi. The main purpose of this campaign is to increase the sensitivity to the importance of Yamuna River in children and connect it with the neatness movement. The minister said that if Yamuna really had to relive, it should create a mass movement, especially the active participation of children is needed. Children will not only spread the message of awareness, but also create a sensitive society for the future. Under the “Maa Yamuna netiness campaign”, many important activities of children in schools in Delhi are offered. There will have essay, painting and painting, debate competition, street game, clean Yamuna promise and awareness walks and cultural programs at annual festivals.
