Madhya Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Deora created a new controversy by delivering controversial remarks about the Indian Army
After the controversial remarks of Madhya Pradesh Minister Vijay Shah over Colonel Sophia Qureshi, the Deputy Chief Minister of the State Jagdish Deora has now created a political storm with his comments on the Indian army. During the Volunteering Program for Civil Safety Volunteers in Jabalpur, Deora said “the entire country, including the Indian army and soldiers, is at the feet of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.” Deora made this remark and praised Modi’s response to the Pahalgam terror attack. Deora said: “Not only the country, but the whole army is also at the feet of modes for his difficult stand against terrorism.” He urged the audience to appreciate the leadership of the prime minister. The Deputy Chief Minister said that Modi’s decisive action should be praised against terrorist groups. He emphasized that the prime minister led the fight against terrorists in Pakistan. Devda said the terrorist tourists targeted religion in Pahalgam. During his speech, Devda also remembers the cruelty of the Pahalgam attack, claiming that the terrorists deliberately targeted tourists. He said: “In Pahalgam, the terrorist tourists asked before they shot them in front of their families. The women were separated from each other and the men died in the eyes of their children and family members.” He said such atrocities cannot be ignored. Devda insisted that the country not sit peacefully until every terrorist and their supporters are eliminated. There is a sharp response from the opposition to Devda’s remark. Congressional leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra described this statement as “very embarrassing and unfortunately”. In a post on X (East Twitter), Vadra said: ‘First, a Madhya Pradesh minister made offensive remarks about female soldiers and now the deputy chief minister insulted our armed forces. The whole country is proud of the bravery of our soldiers, but do they try to save this story?
