Lord Jagannath took 15 days old illness whose legend here knows on himself
The Rath Yatra of the famous Jagannath temple in Puri is considered one of the most religious festivals in India. This year, this sacred journey will be taken on June 27, 2025, when Lord Jagannath goes on a wagon with his brother Balabhadra and sister Subhadra and goes to the aunt’s house Gundicha Temple. But before that, a mysterious and emotional tradition is played, making the devoted emotional. 15 days of loneliness – why is God sick? Lord Jagannath gets sick every year on ueshtha Purnima after a bathing trip and goes 15 days after loneliness. During this time he is called ‘Anasar’ and does not give Darshan to the devoted. Temple servants give them medicinal decoction, paste and traditional treatment. But why is that happening? Legend: When God took the illness of his dedicated on him, according to the famous Jyotirvid Pandit Rajendra Shastri there was a very striking story behind this tradition. Madhav Das, the highest dedicated from Lord Jagannath, suffered from a long illness. He upset the Lord and prayed, “Lord, You are the Lord of the world, can my illness not be lost?” God smiles and says, “Friend, I want to give you salvation. Just 15 days of suffering, He will enjoy it and then you will be free.” But the pain of Madhavdas, the heart of God, is moving. He lovingly took the remaining 15 days of his illness on him. Madhavdas was healed, but the Lord Himself became ill. Since then, Lord Jagannath remains bad every year for 15 days, and is being done during this period. From Anasar to Nayan Darshan – this seclusion of reverence and dedication is called ‘Anasar’. If God is healthy 15 days later, this day is celebrated as ‘Nayan Darshan’ or ‘Navyuvan Utsav’. The next day, Lord Vishal rides on a giant wagon and leaves for the Rath Yatra. The Rath Yatra will take place on June 27, the Rath Yatra will be taken out on June 27 this year. Millions of devotes from all over the country and abroad will reach Puri and will earn the virtues to draw the wagon of God. It is believed that by drawing the wagon, the path of salvation is paved. During the Rath Yatra, God will rest in the Gundicha Temple (Aunt’s house) for a week. Then in ‘Bahua Yatra’, he will return to his temple. Share this story -tags
