CM Sainin has launched Panchayat package of Rs 368 crore, 41,000 couples in pension list
On the occasion of National Panchayati Raj Day, Haryana’s chief minister Naib Singh Sainin, a major development package of Rs 368 crore for Panchayats across the state. Sainin, held during the lifting ceremony of the Village Village in Panchkula, inaugurated 923 development projects, which cost Rs 233 crore and laid the ground stone for 413 other projects that cost Rs 135 crore. The main minister strengthened the government at ground level and also transferred Rs 573 crore to 22 Zilla Parishad, 142 Panchayat committees and 5.388 grams of Panchayats as share in stamp rights income. Sainin continued the female center infrastructure and announced the release of Rs 18.28 Crore for the erection of women’s chaupals in 511 grams of Panchayats. He also distributed Rs 1.45 crore as honorarium to 411 Zilla Parishad members and 3.081 Panchayat Samiti members. In the program, Saini launched a demonstration-based incentive scheme, Chief Minister Hunting Ride Gram Award for Gram Panchayats. Panchayats that excelled in areas such as education, healthcare, sanitation, women’s empowerment, agricultural production, digital access and sustainable infrastructure will be eligible for cash prizes – Rs 51 Lakh for the first place, Rs 31 Lakh for second and Rs 21 Lakh for third. This amount should be used for local development. Sainin said: “To strengthen the democratic rule at grassroots level, it is important to motivate and equip our Panchayati Raj institutions.” He also launched the distribution of training sets under the Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan, who intends to provide restraining training for all 71,000 elected PRI representatives in Haryana this year. An important attraction of the program was the distribution of social security pension benefits to 41.591 new beneficiaries among different schemes. A total of Rs 12.59 crore was deposited directly into their bank accounts from the venue itself. Earlier, the chief minister and participants held a two -minute silence in memory of those who died in the recent terror attack in Pahalgam. Share this story -tags
