The Judge Sushil Kumar, the Court of the Nuh district, sentenced a conviction to a strict imprisonment of 5 years and a fine of Rs 25,000 in a cellphone case. The conviction will have to face an extra penalty of one year because he did not pay the fine. According to police, the conviction was identified as Arshad, a resident of Punhana Madina Colony. The incident happened on April 8, 2022, in the Punhana vegetable market, when the accused joined one of his companions a cellphone of Hakam, a resident of Badah Dudoli Village. The accused rode on a bicycle without license plate and escaped by tearing the cellphone. A FIR has been submitted to the Punhana City police station in this regard. According to Nuh police spokesman, police collected several important evidence during the provisional investigation, including stolen cell phones, which were decisive in the case.
