Gujarat: Reshmaben Hirani's innovative effort to make science interesting in government school
Kukma (Gujarat), April 2 (IANS). Reshmaben Hirani, a science teacher at ‘PM Shri’ Kukma Primary School, located in Kukma of Bhuj Tehsil of the Kutch district Gujarat, not only made a complicated subject like science easily and interesting for students with her unique innovation, but her efforts were also appreciated at the state level. His innovation has shown that quality education can also be transferred in government schools when teachers motivate children through their efforts and innovations. Reshmaben has developed many innovative games to facilitate a difficult topic such as science for children. Under his innovation, children were used to different types of sports to explain the science courses of Class VI, VII and VIII. These games include sports such as jigsaw pajal, crossword puzzle, stick dolls, maps, snake stars and tick-tac ta, in which children easily understand different subjects of science. The particular thing is that these games are prepared on the hardboard for the purpose of keeping children of mobile games away so they can get education in sports instead of mobile devices. Reshmaben’s innovation first arranged at the zone level and was later presented at the state level Innovation Fair, where his works were widely appreciated. In this scholarship organized by the Gujarat Education and Training Council, Reshmaben received the trophy and certificate for his contribution. Their innovation is now being used in more than 50 schools across the state, and PDF files of their prepared games help children in education. In 2010, Reshmaaben started her educational life in Aalnagar Primary School in Bhuj and has since been working hard to have children interested in scientific subjects. Since 2013, he has been working as a science teacher at Kukma Primary School, where he has done incredible educational experiments for students. He was also awarded the Talented Teacher Award for the year 2022-2023. A student of the class eight Gusai Kripali spoke to the Ians news agency that earlier science looks very difficult, but now we can understand it very easily. Our teacher Reshmaaben explains to us in simple language. When Premier Modi talks about promoting science, we feel that we can also achieve good achievements. A student Krisha said that our teacher teaches us well and explains to us in a simple way. Their method is very good and we get a lot of help from it. At the same time, the teacher Reshmaben said that good education can also be given in government schools, provided teachers try properly for children. She believes that it is possible to improve the result of children only when teachers put their efforts in the right direction. Reshmaben believes that he was inspired by Prime Minister Modi’s efforts to promote science, this innovation began, and now the impact of his efforts is clearly visible in the results of his students. -Ians psk/acade
