Two accused who were arrested after gang rape of deaf and dumb woman in Balrampur, after police meeting
Uttar Pradesh police have arrested two accused of gang rape of a deaf-deaf woman following a meeting in the Balrampur district Wednesday. According to the information, one of the accused was shot in the leg of the police bullet, while the other was broken in the leg when the other hit the stone. Both were arrested and sent to the jail after the treatment. Both have been identified as hard Pandey and Ankur Verma. The incident filed by the victim’s brother is from the Kotwali Dehat police station, where the victim’s brother filed a complaint on Monday claiming that the gang rape of his 21 -year -old sister. At the same time, the video of a distressed woman walking on the road became viral on social media. In light of the sensitivity of the incident, police registered a case and began investigating. Superintendent of the Police (SP) Vikas Kumar formed four special teams and during the investigation the names of two accused came to light. Information received from the police’s fall and meeting information revealed that the accused was fleeing Nepal and near Shankarpur to the Shravasti border. At the order of SP Kumar, police caught him. After being surrounded, the suspects began shooting, in response to which Harshit was shot in his leg. Ankur was injured in an attempt to escape. Both were rushed to United District Hospital for treatment and then jailed. During interrogation, the accused acknowledged that the crime SP Vikas Kumar said the accused admitted during the interrogation that he had drunk alcohol at a Bahadurpur liquor store before committing the crime. Since Ankur knew the victim, he attracted her on her motorcycle. Both take her to a room near Bahadurpur Cremation Ghat, where they raped her.
