Looking for land for 25 lakh plants has started, a major challenge before rain

The forest division has been searching for suitable soil over the past few days to plant about 25 lakh trees. According to departmental officials, the Minister of Water Resources has instructed the Indore forest division to plant 25 lakh trees under the Water Ganga Conservation Campaign. Under this campaign, a large -scale plantation was planned, for which suitable places are identified. Places are identified in Mhow, Manpur, Choral and Indore Ranges. Following the instructions of Minister Tulsi Silavat, the forest division began to mark the place for plantation in Indore Forest Zone, including Mhow, Manpur, Chorl. According to DFO Pradeep Mishra, many places have been identified where a large scale plantation will be done. However, the employees of the forest department say that it is not easy to find land to plant 25 lakh new trees, like last year, at the command of Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya, a plantation campaign of 51 lakh trees was carried out in which the department had already planted about 25 lakh bulbs. The tradition of planting 5 lakh trees every year, this time the challenge is great, except that the forest division also plants about 5 lakh trees before the rainy season. This year is also preparations to dig pits before the rain is in full swing. In such a situation, the number and responsibility of plants this time are more. Under the Jal Ganga Conservation campaign, the entire forest is now finding a place for plantation in the four forest categories of Indores. This campaign has become an important administrative and land challenge for the department. Big responsibility for planting 30 lakh trees, initiative to raise green, after the previous year’s campaign, this year also has the responsibility to plant about 30 lakh trees on the Indore bush division and ensure their safety. It is yet to see how much time it will take for the department to arrange land for 25 lakh plants. It is noteworthy that plantation programs are arranged from time to time to promote green in the city, in which government agencies as well as ordinary citizens participate. The Jal Ganga Conservation Campaign is also an important effort in this series, including a target of planting millions of trees. Share this story -tags
