Justice will be available at New Criminal Law soon: AMIT Shah
New -delhi, July 1 (ins). Home Affairs Minister Amit Shah said on Tuesday that the three new penalties could take more than three years to fully implement. He addressed an opportunity in the National Capital Delhi. Amit Shah said this after completing one year of three new penalties that came into effect on July 1 last year. He said: “I can say with full confidence that you must register a fir in any part of the country, that you will get justice within three years. It will be assured.” In December 2023, all three criminal laws of Parliament adopted the Indian Civil Protection Code, Indian Justice Code and Indian Evidence Act and were implemented across the country from 1 July 2024. These three laws replaced the Indian Criminal Act, Criminal Procedure Act and the Indian Proof of Professed Act. Referring to artificial intelligence, he said: “We have implemented these three laws after a lot of consultation. These laws were made from the Indian point of view. It used so much used technology that there is no question of the escape of criminals. He said that the old laws did not match the cultural, social and constitutional needs of India. New laws prioritize the rights, freedom and justice of citizens of India. Old laws did not guarantee justice from time to time and matters continued for years. He added: “The new laws set a deadline for fir, charge page, trial and judgment, so that there can be justice quickly.
