Operation The White Sea, during the Kargil War, was an operation in support of Operation Vijay in which the Indian Air Force provides border safety. The main purpose of this campaign was to prevent the Pakistanian army from entering and occupying uncontrollably in the border areas of Jammu and Kashmir. The Indian Air Force also faced several challenges for this operation, as the Indian Air Force was not allowed to cross the control line for this. Operation White Sea is the divine saga of this war, where the army has protected the country by staying on the land, while the Air Force has put in its safety shield in the air. The Air Force was deployed for this operation on May 25. With the help of Operation White Sea, the army set fire to soldiers while fighting against the land war. Its purpose was to identify the basis of the enemy and to destroy air strikes. Weaker and the destruction of the communication network of the enemy was also an important function of this operation. With the help of this operation, the Indian Air Force was to destroy the posts, bunkers and bases of Pakistani invaders at a height of 14,000 to 18,000 feet in Kargil, Dras and Battalic sectors. Accurate air strikes were performed in these places. Where did what aircraft attacked? In this operation, the laser-led bomb LGB was used for the first time by the MIG-200 air force air force, which destroyed the Tiger Hill and other enemy bases. Mirage-20000 aircraft were used for this. The MIG-27 Brave was used to bombard heavy bombing and enemy bunkers, artillery and trench systems. It is a plane manufactured in Russia. It was included in the Air Force in 1980. With the help of this warship, attacks were carried out in Dras and Battalik areas. The Air Force was assisted by MIG-21. This high -speed jet was used to evacuate the injured soldiers and martyrs. MIG-21 was also used for small bombing, flight covering and monitoring. Jaguar aircraft were used for exploration and ground attacks. It was the plane that was ready for immediate action in case of night attack. With his help, the communication and supply lines of the enemy had to be destroyed. Operation White Sea Features Operation The White Sea was an air campaign for 40 days. More than 5,000 flights were flown in it. Mirage-20000 also dropped more than 1 ton of bombs. In this campaign, a MIG-21 and an MIG-27 plane were destroyed and a pilot was tortured. Who led this campaign? Operation The White Sea was led by the then Air Chief Marshal Anil Yashwant Tipnis. He led the entire campaign to a strategic level. During this period, Yashwant Tipnis maintained the coordination between the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Defense and the Army Chiefs. Air Marshal Ps Ahluwalia was the commander -in -chief of the Western commando and made the order on the Western order. He did do work in the plan and implementation of Operation White Sea, as this area also comes under Kargil. Air Vice Marshal AK Tiwari played an important role in the war plan and coordination of the Air Force. He investigated the preparations for air force stations and also monitored the mission control centers. Wiusic Squadron leader Ajay Ahuja, who was tortured in Operation White Sea, drove in Mig-21. Pakistan attacked him as he moved forward to help his partner. They came from the parachute when Pakistan violated the rules and caught fire on them. He died on May 27. Ajay also awarded the feather chakra posthumously. Apart from this, Squadron Leader Rakesh Pandir, Lieutenant Sk Muhilaan, Sergeant Raj Kishore Sahu and Sergeant Pvnr Prasad were also tortured. The Air Force pilot Kunnikrishnan Nachiketa fell from an MIG-27 aircraft in Pakistan during this operation. The engine of his plane failed. Pakistan returned him 8 days later.
