Tamil Nadu: Two cars clash in Tirunelveli, seven people have lost their lives
Tirunelveli, April 27 (IANS). A fierce road accident occurred on Sunday at the National Highway in Thalpati Samudraram near Nanguni in the Tirunelveli district Nadu, in which seven people lost their lives in a face-to-face collision of two cars. The dead include three men, two women and two children. Police began investigating this tragic incident. According to police, the accident occurred when one car went to Tirunelveli, while the other car came out of the opposite direction. Initial investigation revealed that high velocity and negligence could be the leading cause of this accident. The collision between the two vehicles was so strong that the cars were completely damaged and that the passengers had no chance to save. Local people immediately notified the police and emergency services. After the death of all the passengers on the spot, the dead have not yet been fully identified. The police and administration are trying to contact their families. Two bodies were held in the Asarpalli Government Hospital for primary examination and after -mortem, while the other four bodies were taken to Tirunelveli Government Medical College Hospital. Traffic on the highway was disrupted for some time after the accident, but the police controlled the situation. According to the information received, a team of forensic experts was sent to the place to find out the exact cause of the accident.
