Bengal BJP Mla Agnimitra Paul commented on the instructions of the Governor on Waqf Bill, Work fraud, Ram Navami
Kolkata, April 3 (IANS). BJP Mla Agnimitra Paul responded to several important issues on Thursday in a special conversation with the IANS news agency. He also talked about the WAQF (amendment) bill approved in the Lok Sabha, the cancellation of 25,753 posts in the state and the Governor’s instructions to maintain peace during Ram Navami. Agnimitra Paul, while supporting the Waqf Amendment Bill, said in the Lok Sabha with regard to WAQF properties, said there was no one above the Constitution, nor Prime Minister Narendra Modi nor chief minister Mamata Banerjee, nor any other. Referring to history, he said that the country was divided in 1947 on the basis of religion when Muslims left for Pakistan and Hindus remained in India. As for the issue of WAQF property, we are under the scope of the Constitution and no one has the right to declare any property as WAQF property. He said that nationalist Muslims support this bill and that it is necessary for the good future of the country. He directed against the congress, and criticized the amendments made earlier in the law. The BJP MLA criticized Mamata Banerjee, chief minister of West Bengals, saying he is responsible for the great corruption in the state. He claimed that the MAMTA government canceled millions of jobs in the state and that there was a scam behind it. This entire corruption was done by agents of the Trinamole Congressional Leaders, where bribes were given jobs. State Education Minister Partha Chatterjee, who is now in jail, has given work with bribery. Paul accused Mamta Banerjee and said how she didn’t know about this big scam, while this scam was done with the whole government. The BJP MLA demanded the chief minister to punish those involved in this scam. Agnimitra Paul supported the Governor’s instructions to maintain peace during Ram Navami. He said that what the governor said should happen. Ram Navami must be celebrated peacefully. But the way Mamata Banerjee is doing the politics of application, the way the temple is vandalized and the culprits are not acted, is condemned. She does politics about this. Paul said that CM Mamta and her party could make a little mess on the day of Ram Navami and would try to riot. He claimed that the state government worship occurs in temples and that no action was taken against the culprits. He said that the state government should reconsider its policy and maintain peace and harmony throughout the state. -Ians PSK/Ekd Share this Story Tags
